Tekken tag tournament game

On the weekend’s I played Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with Neo on the Wii U. We did pair battle. For this battle me and Neo could both be in teams, so first we had to pick our people but I had to pick first. I had a favorite character and His name was Raven. Then Neo picked Michael law.


Then we both Vs some hard people. The stages went all the way up to stage 9. When me and Neo got all the way to the last part we kept trying to beat out a boss guy but instead our characters died a lot, but we had chance’s. Then finally we had victory and unlocked another player.

Overall it was a good time playing tekken with Neo but he had to go home.

Netbook Reflection

I felt bored because using a pencil made too much pain on your hands. I thought about having something better than pencil and paper. I now feel much better that we have a netbook. Its is amazing, you can actually save your work that you have done on a document in a folder.

The things that frustrate me is when the internet is slow and doesn't work. I also don't like when it plays up and freezers. I get angry when something that was important was deleted.

Overall a I feel better and that now we can do more on our netbook, it is way more interesting and fun.

Getting a new controler

On Friday when I got back from home I was surprised. We had a Wii U, and the games we had were Nintendo Land and Assassins Creed III. It was COOL and I took a look of the game on Nintendo Land, they were weird but still cool.

There was this game that I played with my big brother, and it was a Mario Attraction called LUIGI'S GHOST MANSION. My  brother used the Wii U so he was the ghost, and I was the shiner. “The shiner has to find the ghost and shine its touch on it.

The ghost had to catch the shiner three times to win. For my first time I lost, but then when I became the ghost I won!

Overall
I liked playing the games and I hope next time I’ll be more better.

Making a ninja star

Yesterday I was making a paper Ninja star. During our making time, I saw Byron looking at a video. It was about a person making a toy called bubbly bottle. As soon as a saw he asked me that he would want to make it but he didn't have the materials. So then I got back to my to that I was making and it was quite challenging.

The steps were quite hard to understand because they had no steps. Suddenly I typed ( how to make a paper ninja star), and It came up with five easy steps to make it. The Video looked just right for me. When I got some Materials I just figured out that It was paper for the main toy.


First I get scissors and find a A3 Paper Then fold the paper in half and cut it in half. After that was done I then fold the top over and over until it got smaller. Now I fold it into a gun shape, and hold the middle and turn it over. Next I see this tunel and I put the square shape in those tunnels.


Finally when it came to a difficult step. I tried to do it but I got confused. It was the last step that I couldn't do.

There were two children that were in Mr Johnson’s class. Mr Johnson showed them a model picture. It was a longship, that Vikings used to sail across the sea. Mr Johnson’s class decided to make a longship and ride one in the hall.

•  A3 paper
•  Scissors

Method:

1. Get your scissors and cut the A3 in half (side ways).

2. When you,ve done that, fold it again.

3. Then get the right top bit corner and fold it down.

4. Then do it with the bottom one, but this time they have to be facing away from each other.

5. now you have to fold the top right corner again and with the down one two. You also have to remeber to do it with the other paper you have to, and Make exatly Oppsite folds to.

    6. Next you put one on top of the other, and make sure there on top of each other like this:


   7. Now tuck the triangular shape corners in the pockets that a on each other.

Two mice called Greta and Garbo went to a special day-care centre that some children made in room 10. They Garbed some materials from their teacher so they can use it for the rooms. said. They were smashing themselves into the food and wasting it. When they fighted until the master snapped them. after when it was the future time’s they became ninja’s that were a white colour and black.


In paris the white ninja storm  had a bomb to blow up the eiffel tower. They had to stop the bomb from exploding. There was an army that had robots to smash the other team.

Orange Play dough

This morning Room Fourteen were Making eels out of play dough. Our teacher Miss Ouano told us to split them into equal parts. Miss Ouano told us to cut it in one halve, but they had to be exactly the same.

The play dough was weak because you could punch it. So then we had to make  another equal part. Yesterday when we went with our teacher, she told about making chocolate bars out of playdough and an story about person with chocolate bars.

In the end I liked making playdough in fraction parts.

Paralympic Gold medals

Cameron  leslie had to swim without one of his limbs missing. It was hard for him to defend the beijing gold medal. An athlete  like him was hard to swim without a limb.  

Gray and Laura Thompson tried to beat their qualifying record for track cycling. But they couldn’t. They still won two gold medals.

When the girls were riding on the track cycles their vision was impaired. So they couldn't see much.  

The New Zealander athletes are going good for the paralympics. I WISH YOU LUCK NEW ZEALAND!

Paralympic Games

On Wednesday there is going to be a paralympic games at London. Starting on 29/08/12. The paralympic games for London 2012 stops on September 9.


There are going to be 4,200 athletes competing in twenty different sporting events. In the twenty sport events for the Paralympic games there is para equestrian, wheel basketball,  sitting volleyball and goalball. Athletes for the paralympic games have to work hard to get are gold medal.

Cross Country

Last Friday, we had Cross Country. Mr Burt took the year five boys to the reserve, it was a bit muddy on the grass. We couldn`t go first because the girls had to go before us. 

When we were running it was a bit sloshy and wet. There were puddles that my shoes got caught in when we were running on the path.

It got a bit freaky when I got to the creek. There was a lot of mud and a long river. I nearly fell down on the mud. The part that I didn't like was going down and going up the stairs in the creek. When we went out of that first lot of creeks, there was another lot.

When I got to school people were cheering for their house colours. I hung out with some of my friends, telling them what they came but they didn't know what they came.

I didn`t come first, I came seventh, but I really enjoyed that Cross Country!

Hidden Gold Medal

Nick Wills was a middle distance runner whose Bronze turned into a silver by an upgrade. This is because of steroids taken by Rashid Ramzi from the Beijing game. Rashid Ramzi was coming second but he tested positive for steroids. Nick wills said, “Valerie adams worked hard to get that gold medal”. 

The people of belarus said Nadzeya was still winner in their eyes. Valerie adams wanted to have a proper Ceremony, in ether  Eden park, South Auckland or the Cloud.

Last Night Valerie Adams didn't win a silver medal for shot put, because this Russian lady was cheating. Her name was Nadzeya Ostapchuk. She was from Russia. New Zealand's team chief told Valerie Adams that Silver had turned into gold.

I think that Valerie Adams deserved that gold medal because of her hard work from the past.

Ancient Olympic Flame.

 In the past the Greeks had an olympic stadium. The Greeks had to do  a relay around the   

world with their dinsnid olympic torch. People from other countries had a go at running around the world. When the second to last person went, The one who's last lights the largest olympic torch.

A long time ago the ancient greeks held a olympic event.The flame sebolyse death and rebirth of the Greek heroes.The Ancient Olympic games started 2700 years ago. People from all over the country's hold the torch to get to the stadium.

Mr Bean was playing the piano with  a weird face, when he was playing he sneezed. Bean tried to reach for his tissue but he couldn't, so instead he reached for an umbrella.

He then had a dream of him running with some other men across the beach, but then Mr Bean was comeing last.Mr Bean cheated and went into a ’’car and drove in front of them, then went out of the car and trip someone over and Mr Bean came first.

School Idol

There was a School Idol held in the hall. You could apply by  just putting your name outside Mr Butlers

classroom. Zack, Josh and Nathan decided to sign up. They had to think of a group name, so they messed up their names to think of some. Their group name was JoNaZa.

The Olympics 2012

In 2012 the Summer Olympics are going to be held in London, England.

On July 27, 2012, there is going to be an opening ceremony.

The closing ceremony is on August 12,2012.

Bmx Cycling

The Olympic event I have chosen is Bmx cycling. You have to cycle fast to come first. You also have to stay in front of the race so you can win the gold medal!

 
BMX cycling was started in the1960's in California.

BMX first appeared in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. A man called Latvias Maris Strombergs won the first BMX olympics race.

You need a BMX bike if you are going to ride on the tracks, and you have to have protective clothing. It might be handy to have a helmet for your head!

If you want to win your bike has to be light so it can go quite fast. You need to know how to do bunny hops so you can have a better view when you get to a ramp. It is also important to be smart and know were the tracks are!

Holiday Highlight

In the weekend I was bored because there was nothing to do, but sit and play games everyday. I was thinking about what Pt. England's topic would be. Me and my big brother brought a new game called Iron Man 2. It was a Nintendo game. I liked it, but I couldn't play because my big brother was playing on the Nintendo first.


Overall I enjoyed playing, but really I`ve cloaked the hole game.

Reflection two

Writing:

I am working hard,to finishing it off properly. I learnt about punctuations and key vocab.

I am going to improve more of my writing just by work hard.

Math:

 

I have learnt about decades and centuries. The only thing that I don't like about maths is  working it out, because  it is quite hard. I'm going to improve on my decades.

Multimedia:

I am leaning about pop art. We were  Drawing and animating our faces on the computer.

Art Gallery

On Wednesday morning, Room 14  went to the Art gallery in the hall at Pt England School.
We saw so much art, I felt elated. I saw me and my classmates's art. It was a picture of us, but in pop art colours.

When we were in the art gallery it felt really dark a little. But when we went on the stage there was a board that was showing pictures of popular art.

I saw a lot of fine art, and some that were hanging on strings for a good view. It was all excellent. There were artist painting of themselves.

There was a lot of painting from classes that were artistic. My favorite painting was the one I did from Room 14. I could of chosen someone else's, but I liked mine.

Overall, I thought there was going to be so much more. It could have had more art, but really I enjoyed it.
