Holiday Highlight

In the holidays I went to Rainbows End, with my brother. I met my brothers friend and little brother, his name was T. It was T's birthday. We went on lots of cool things like the Gold Rush, Bumper karts, The pirate ship, Family karts, and The invader.


I saw heaps of people having candy floss, I thought that it looked like hair made of lollies.
Then we went on the scorpion karts there was a cm chart and it was 150 cm. I was not tall enough, so I waited. Then it was over and we went to the next thing. 


After all it turned out well and I enjoyed it!

How to make sun hats.

1.Place big sheets of paper out on concrete.

2.Rub crayons on paper to make a pattern.

3. Paint dye over crayon patterns. Wait overnight for dye to dry.

4.Lay another sheet of paper on top. Paint glue over all the layers.

5.Spread the dyed paper onto a table. Paint the paper with glue.

6.Put gluey paper on the model’s heads. Rub hands over paper and tie elastic on.

7.Take hats off heads and put them on the table to dry.

8.Trim hats with scissors leaving a wide brim.

Blindfold Experience

When me and my partner had a go, I got the blindfold and tied it up on my partner. Then I was his guide and everything I said he had to trust me. We  were having a funny time then when we came to the tackling bags I was trying to help him but he did it, he had to climb over it. 


There were cones and my partner zig-zaged through the cones. After that I was holding his back and we where walking up the stage and then I turn my partner around but I did not push him of the stage he jump by him self off the stage, it was awesome I also jump.

When it was my turn  I was worried because I thought it was not  going to be right . When I was walking up the stage with my partner it might of being cool because when we where on the stage I was going to  Jump off the stage and slam. It was a great time doing the Bind Fold  Experience I hope we did it again cause it was fun. another thing I like was when we where blind because one thing is that my partner hit his knee and it felt horrible.


It was a world of darkness when I had the blindfold on and I might of think that some others had it to but it was still nice!

The story Was written by Judith mckinnon, I have drawn the weather And my favourite part of the picture is  the rain and the storm.

Short film view

This movie was made in the Greek islands.The main Characters were the female Octopus and the male Octopus!

The female octopus and the male octopus were in love then suddenly a chief grabbed the female octopus. The male octopus was looking at the truck and it had a symbol. The symbol was the male octopus`s imagination, he imagined that the female octopus was going to get sliced by a chef.

The octopus was chasing after the female. The male octopus was on the van trying to reach the other side of the van so he can rescue the octopus. When he got to the window the chef wiped him out then it was a dangerous battle. Then After The female was free and he help the other octopus, they were both helping each other. Suddenly again they got caught, but the chef`s van went in the water and the octopus were stuck on a power line then a Eagle came and took him away!

It was cool watching the movie. I though the main message of the film was to not mess with octopus! 

Camp

Did you know that Year five and sixes went to camp? It was fun at camp because we were in teams and they had names. There were six teams and their names were, Respectstars the group I was in, Respectronics, All Stars, Dream Team, Respectables, and lucky last True Crew. We were having a competition to find out which team were the best and got the most points.

My team Respectstars went rollerblading it was fun. First we were given instruction where we had to play. We were not allowed on the roller blades but we we allowed to go play some ping pong, I liked it. I started to have a battle with tyrone and cezar, it was a intense game with cezar. I had a battle with tyrone he was easy, and so as cezar. I really enjoyed it. When the bell rang and we were allowed on the rollerblades. It was my first time doing rollerblading. I really liked it I was thinking it was like ice skate but it is much slippery. I hope we can do that again.

When I went back to my tent at night I heard some strange noises, I tried to sleep but I couldn`t. In the middle of the night I still heard some noises.

Overall, I loved it. My favorite activity was rollerblading. I hope we do it again on another camp time.
